During their after-school hours, the children who attend these programs enjoy hobbies, assist in chores, complete homework assignments, engage in self-discovery play, and improve physical fitness

Easter Seals Southern GA, Inc.

Easter Seals Southern Georgia serves adults and children with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  Adult Vocational services with job coaching and transition services, work adjustment and work evaluation. Adult Day Solutions program ensures that people with developmental disabilities experience valued roles in the community located in Albany, Tifton, Cordele, Thomasville, Vienna, and Leesburg. The Community Living Support Program is designed to enable individuals with disabilities to lead an independent life free from institutional atmosphere. Residential Services provide group home living and support in family home or apartment. Family Support is a broad based category that serves children and adults, ages 3 and up. The goal of family support is to keep families together, until the individual with a disability chooses to live independently. Megan’s House is a children’s respite home, located in Albany, Valdosta and Waycross; care provided by Megan’s House may be used for a crisis situation or for a scheduled break.  Champions for Children program is for children under the age of 18 who do not qualify for any type of public assistance, including the Katie Beckett waiver.  Offices are located throughout South Georgia in Albany, Valdosta, Waycross, Savannah, Jessup, Americus, and Vienna covering a 60 county area.
